An original design of a Burton snowboard graphic.
I looked through a lot of different snowboards online as well as during a tour of the Burton factory in Burlington, VT for inspiration, and I wanted to design something that felt sort of "high end" for a snowboard. All of my references had a fresh, grungy, extreme feel to them and I wanted to break away from that. I ended up using very little illustration and focused on typography in the end. I originally experimented with a lot of different color schemes, but settled on black and white.
