This project was to create a new letterform in a specific typeface; I merged a "P" and a "J" in Rockwell Nova.
The design process started with hand-painting my letterform and then digitally scanning it to be imported into Adobe Illustrator. From there, I traced it and spent a great deal of time adjusting and finetuning every edge and curve to be perfect. Once I had my final letterform, I designed a poster that showcased the typeface I worked with where I seamlessly integrated my new letterform into the English alphabet.
